Our client seeks to hire a General Manager to oversee all staff, budgets, and operations at their local branch in South Florida. To be successful in this role you should have an eye for excellence, position yourself as a thoughtful leader of character. Role Objectives:
Develop strategic plan for optimal productivity.
Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing new (or improved) processes, lead teammates, all while , establishing a highly motivational work environment
·Adhere to company standards for excellence and quality, with an emphasis on customers and key accounts
·Seek opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships
·Provide guidance and feedback to strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas for teammates
·Build and maintain a safe working environment at all times
Individual Responsibilities:
·Oversee day-to-day operations, assign weekly performance goals and ensure their completion, and accomplish your own goals
·Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees to achieve objectives for sales, profitability, and market share
·Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively
·Maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans
·Enforce all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values to drive accountability
·Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of all involved
·Develop, implement, and maintain applicable KPI metrics
·Maintain Customer and Vendor relationships
Required Skills and Qualifications
·Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business management or similar major
·5+ years proven success in a managerial role
·Superior decision-making ability
·Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
·Track record of financial performance with prior/current employers
·Proven acumen to motivate and lead employees, while ensuring accountability
·Experience with conducting performance evaluations
·Basic knowledge of human-resources processes
·Advanced knowledge of Sales and Marketing processes
