General Manager - Happy Tails of Little Elm LLC

Introduction:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Manager to join our team and oversee the operations of our dog boarding/daycare/grooming/retail/training business. The General Manager will work closely with the partners to set goals, identify plans to attain goals, direct employees, perform customer service, and take care of the daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities.  The General Manager will be capable of competently completing any job or task assigned to any employee.  This is because good leaders set the tone and culture by example and must be able to offer guidance to all employees.  In this way the General Manager will instill a sense of leadership and respect.  Position opens March 17, 2025.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate a team of employees, including setting performance expectations, providing training and development, and managing employee relations
• Ensure all team members provide outstanding customer service
• Engage with customers to ensure great customer satisfaction
• Ensure all dogs are receiving the best care
• Coordinating dog fostering and supporting local animal shelters
• Participating in marketing efforts
  

• Oversee the operations of the business, including ensuring that policies and procedures are followed and that all necessary resources are available

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a manager or assistant manager in a retail or service industry

• Strong leadership, teamwork and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Competently budgeting and inventory tracking
• Retaining technical knowledge
