The General Manager will oversee daily operations, improve systems, and execute growth strategies to position the company for future success. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires teamwork across multiple departments including field crews, technicians, installers, and office staff to ensure alignment, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations across all departments, focusing on efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Systems and Processes: Develop, implement, and optimize workflows and processes to improve accountability and streamline operations.
- Team Collaboration: Work with diverse teams, including field crews, plumbers, carpenters, masons, installers, sales representatives, and office staff to foster seamless communication and project execution.
- Scaling and Growth: Develop and execute strategies for scaling the company, improving operations, and increasing profitability.
- Project Management: Supervise scheduling, job tracking, and resource allocation to ensure that projects are completed on time and meet customer expectations.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, control costs, and formulate strategies to meet revenue and margin goals.
- Customer Focus: Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing feedback and continually improving service quality.
- Leadership Development: Train, mentor, and support team members to build a strong, high-performing workforce.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Establish strong communication channels between office teams, sales staff, and field crews to improve coordination and collaboration.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years in an operational leadership role within home services, construction, trades, or a similar industry.
- Proven track record of building systems, scaling operations, and managing multi-departmental teams.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and operational abilities with a focus on improving workflows and processes.
- Financial acumen, including experience in budgeting, cost control, and KPI analysis.
- Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to unify teams and drive company-wide results.
- Strategic problem-solving and planning capabilities.
- Familiarity with project management tools, CRMs, or scheduling software is a plus.
- Knowledge of Job Nimbus or AccuLynx
- Additional Attributes:
- Experience working with diverse teams, including skilled tradespeople, technicians, and office staff.
- A results-oriented mindset and a passion for improving operational efficiency.
- Day shift (Monday to Friday)
- Weekends as needed
- Pay: Starting from $150,000 per year + Bonus
