Job Overview
As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, profitability, and team performance. You will serve as the cornerstone of the restaurant's success, fostering a culture of excellence while maintaining a hands-on approach to operations and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage all day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless execution in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Strategic Leadership: Lead by example, setting clear expectations for excellence, professionalism, and accountability across all departments.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team. Inspire and empower employees to consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Financial Performance: Oversee budgets, P&L, and cost controls. Develop strategies to optimize revenue, control expenses, and achieve financial goals.
- Guest Experience: Ensure every guest receives unparalleled hospitality and attention to detail. Proactively address feedback to elevate the dining experience.
- Compliance and Standards: Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements. Uphold company policies and procedures to the highest standard.
- Problem Solving: Resolve operational challenges swiftly and effectively, working independently with minimal supervision.
- Collaboration: Work closely with owners, chefs, and other leadership team members to align on goals and drive the restaurant's vision forward.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant setting is required. Proven success in leading large teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Leadership: Strong, hands-on leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to operate independently and make confident, strategic decisions.
- Operational Expertise: Deep understanding of restaurant operations, financial management, and industry best practices.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, POS systems, and operational software.
- Personality: Positive, solutions-oriented, and capable of inspiring a team to perform at their best under pressure.
- Schedule Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
