The Position:
As a Willbanks General Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and driving sales activities within a designated region. Your primary objective will be to achieve revenue targets, expand the customer base, and strengthen relationships with clients and channel partners. As a General Manager you will lead a team of sales representatives and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful promotion and distribution of boiler products and solutions.
What you’ll do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the assigned region, aligning it with the company's overall sales objectives and growth targets.
- Track, analyze and own implementation of sales metrics in CRM.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and channel partners in the region.
- Understand customer needs, identify opportunities, and address challenges to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence and customer base within the region.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budget plans, and periodic reports on sales performance for the region.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on sales progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to sales policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Oversee and guide the sales team in meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to help team members achieve their potential.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Represent Willbanks, Inc. at all trade shows, professional meetings and industry forums as deemed appropriate by Sales Management.
- Serve as the face of the organization to internal and external partners.
- Manages the selection, training, development, appraisal and work assignments of all field personnel, and the estimator. Has direct involvement with hiring, firing, promotions, and assignments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, Marketing, related degree, or related field experience in lieu of degree.
- Certified Professional Sales Leader (CPSL) a plus.
- Certified Professional Sales Professional (CPSP) a plus.
- Seven (7) years of general sales experience.
- Five (5) years of sales management experience.
- Two (2) years of boiler, HVAC, plumbing, or other related industry experience.
- Experience in closing large deals with long sales cycles.
- Experience utilizing CRM.
- Work well with others in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
