About the Job
We are working with one of the top manufacturers in the daylighting space! They need to find a General Manager for their location in Pittsburgh. They are looking for someone to be responsible for all functions and departments with at least 10 years of management experience. This is a well-compensated role with 100% paid health care and an ESOP program!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve the company’s founding values, monitor the overall marketplace, ensure development of new products, and improvements to existing products.
- Oversee Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Administration departments.
- Full P&L responsibility and oversight.
- Prepare company’s objectives, strategies, plans, and budgets for 1 year, 5 year and 20 year increments.
- Monitor company performance measured against prepared objectives, strategies, plans, and budgets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree (Engineering, Architecture, or Business/Operations management preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in general management (architectural fabrication industry preferred)
- General knowledge in a variety of disciplines (e.g. Accounting, Manufacturing, Sales, Fabrication, Legal, Engineering and Finance, Material and Construction Law/ contracts)
- Thorough knowledge of the architectural sales and construction industry
