Salary: $120,000 annually + Performance Bonus & Benefits

Your Role as General Manager:
As the General Manager, you are more than just a leader; you are the heartbeat of our establishment. Your mission is to inspire and lead a team towards not just meeting, but exceeding our operational goals. You will spearhead strategies aimed at cost reduction and sales increase, ensuring our patrons leave with memorable dining experiences. Your leadership will cultivate a team that embodies our beliefs in teamwork, integrity, and excellence in hospitality.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Develop policies and standards that drive the restaurant towards operational efficiency. Adjust strategies as necessary to meet the dynamic needs of our business.
- Exceptional Dining Experience: Guarantee an unrivaled dining experience by overseeing presentation, taste, service, and atmosphere, fostering a loyal customer base.
- Team Supervision: Lead a cohesive team through effective communication. Implement top-tier recruiting practices to ensure the selection, training, and retention of qualified staff.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Uphold all health code requirements, maintain food safety certifications, and set an example in food health safety practices.
- Workplace Safety: Establish a professional environment that prioritizes employee safety, providing clear guidelines to prevent workplace hazards.
Financial Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough P&L reviews and address variable cost issues.
- Complete annual budgeting in collaboration with the Director of Operations.
- Ensure daily financial reports are accurate and reflective of operations.
- Manage costs to align with budget expectations and respond promptly to control issues.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure timely submissions.
Collaborative Efforts:
- Engage with the Marketing team to innovate promotional strategies.
- Collaborate with the Chef and Sommelier to highlight specials and enhance offerings.
- Lead disciplinary actions and host weekly management meetings to ensure accountability and follow-through.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years in a management position within the restaurant industry. Proven track record in resolving customer issues and delivering superior customer service.
- Skills: Excellent time management, organization, and decision-making capabilities. Strong ability to build and maintain a team environment.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, product offerings, and service standards.
