Storm Water Plans, LLC dba SWP Contracting and Paving is in search of a seasoned General Manager with civil construction experience to lead the business that performs work primarily in Arizona and neighboring states.
The Candidate should have experience overseeing a heavy civil construction and business operations as well as human resources, accounting & finance, and business development. Ultimately, the general manager should be driven by a desire to lead the business to maximum productivity and revenue.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The General Manager is responsible for the subsidiary business line revenue and functionality.
- This position will be responsible for managing a civil construction entity based in Phoenix, AZ.
- Will oversee all staff, budgets and operations of the subsidiary.
- This position formulates subsidiary business strategy and manages talent.

- The General Manager will be responsible for business development, extensive and sustainable growth in their business unit.
- Adhere to company standards for excellence and quality
- Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships
- Provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas
- Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively
- Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans
- Delegate responsibilities to the best-qualified employees and enforce all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values
- Develop budgets and forecasts for the business entity.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Top candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or related business field, or equivalent experience. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5 years or more experience as a General Manager or similar executive role with a General Contractor.
- A strong background in installation/ management for Military and DoD Government Contracts.
- Effective communication skills and outstanding ability to lead an organization.
- Knowledge of business process and shared service functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.) in a corporate structure.
