POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: We are currently seeking a General Manager for our Brookline location. The General Manager is a senior leader in the club contributing to the club and companies’ overall success and strategy. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to cultivate and lead a positive, team-centered work environment that delivers company goals.
- Successful track record of hiring, training, and developing high quality staff and managers.
- Committed to efficient business operations and effective problem resolution.
- Exceptional leadership skills that create a customer service culture.
- Passionate about creating impactful relationships with members.
- Successful track record managing the membership department.
- Experience managing ancillary service programs.
- Detail oriented leader who will evaluate and continuously improve operations.
- Passion about developing relationships and partnerships with key companies and community stakeholders.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven leadership ability in educational, fitness or professional settings with 3-6 years of management experience.
- Current CPR/AED certification - training offered internally.
OTHER KEY FACTORS:
- Strong Organizational Skills and fluency with club operating objectives.
- Understanding revenue goals and managing targets over $500,000.00 per month.
- Experience directly managing targets and their own reporting.
- Membership Sales or larger retail experience.
- Experience leading a group of 2-3 Full-Time Assistant Managers.
- Experience in a professional fitness environment.
- Superior customer service, client retention and satisfaction.
