General Manager at The Bridger Group

Our client is looking for a motivated and reliable General Manager to add to their senior leadership team in Edison, New Jersey. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily day to day operations of the production plant and meet shipment schedules.
• Refine, implement, and improve plant operational and administrative policies and procedures and record keeping.
• Develop and implement an operational plan for the company that addresses staff development issues, safety, operational excellence, quality improvement, financial performance, delivery, and quality of service.
• Oversee and manage consumable and maintenance purchasing activities and monitor inventory levels.
• Train and develop employees, and provide ongoing feedback.
• Develop a supportive working relationship with Sales Manager(s), Account Manager(s), and other leadership.
• Administer budgets, controlling monthly P&L results, and formulating action plans to address variances and gaps

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred (Associates or relevant experience will be considered)
• 10+ years of plant operations/engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for operating plants
• Bi-lingual (preferred)
