Our client is a growing, private dealership group. They have a Cleveland area dealership that needs a hands-on leader. The store is profitable, however there is much room for improvement.We believe improvement will come from the General Manager developing the management team. Additionally, improving processes and procedures.The group will provide all the support you need to thrive: Great location, popular product, budget, and terrific facilities.

We need a very positive, “high octane” General Manager.This role will be very hands-on.

We are seeking a candidate whose strength is on the front end of the business, who understands the difference between leading a team from "managing a store." The ability to build and lead your team, develop your managers, improve sales volume, gross profit, and manage customer experience are key drivers for this position.

Our dealership is profitable, but there exists room for improvement.The General Manager will assess all departments of the dealership, the staff, and all policies and procedures, evaluate and look for ways to improve. Growth is part of the job description, but bringing in a culture of great customer service and accountability is essential to the success of our General Manager.

This ideal candidate will also possess the following skills/experiences/abilities:

• Successful automotive General Manager experience with a proven record
• Proven high performer (we will ask for examples of where you "raised the bar")
• Prior experience as a Used Car Manager, Desk Manager, and F&I are helpful
• Ability to build and lead your team
• Collaborator with the ability to coordinate efforts with sales staff, service and office
• Stable career with intelligent career progression
• Financial statement savvy
• Must be up to date with the online auto buyer and the social media users
• Ability to work in or relo to Cleveland, Ohio
