Responsibilities

1. Utilize a hands-on approach to lead, coach, mentor, and supervise the team
2. Actively promote the AVE vision, mission, culture, and QUEST values system amongst all team members
3. Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to achieve financial results
4. Work closely with the Business Development team to grow existing clients and forge new relationships to drive furnished suite occupancy and revenue goals
5. Work closely with the Leasing team to drive unfurnished apartment occupancy and revenue goals
6. Collaborate with leadership across all departments (asset/finance/marketing/IT/operations) to operate at the highest level and drive financial results
7. Manage budget and expenses to deliver financial results
8. Provide exceptional customer service to all residents, clients, prospects, partners, etc. to drive brand service culture
9. Lead team in delivering elevated resident lifestyle through event programming, social media, and resident technology
10. Hire, train, evaluate, and mentor team members in all property roles (sales, resident services, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration) to operate at the highest level and deliver professional growth
11. Inspire and motivate all team members to operate at the highest level and empower them to take full ownership of their individual roles
12. Deliver urgent follow-up to resident inquiries to ensure resident satisfaction
13. Manage vendors and contractors to drive seamless operations
14. Walk make-readies and the property daily to ensure brand asset presentation standards and sales success
15. Manage apartment retention program to drive lease renewals
16. Audit digital storefronts on a weekly basis to ensure competitive edge (Marketing Websites, Google MyBusiness/Yelp/Apartments.com, etc.)
17. Report on property performance by preparing weekly leasing and traffic reports, as well as monthly financial analysis
18. Represent your property at relevant industry and local events (Chamber of Commerce/Travel/Relocation/Real Estate) to drive brand awareness
19. Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative team-oriented environment

Requirements

1. 5-7+ years of direct leadership experience in mentoring, coaching, training, and supervising a team
2. Hospitality, travel, relocation, corporate housing, or multifamily industry experience strongly preferred
3. Proven success in driving sales, financial, and operational results to meet and exceed goals
4. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
5. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members, residents, and clients
6. Yardi and Oscar systems knowledge preferred but not required

Compensation

$125,000-$150,000/year

Individual compensation decisions will vary as the annual base compensation range provided is approximate and determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, qualifications, education, and geographic location. AVE also offers additional bonus potential paid out on a monthly and/or quarterly basis (dependent upon the position), which is not included in the base compensation range listed above.
