Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations to ensure optimal performance and guest satisfaction.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures to maintain high food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Manage and motivate staff, providing training and development opportunities to ensure a high-performing team.
- Control costs and maximize profitability through effective budget management, inventory control, and sales analysis.
- Foster a positive working environment and promote teamwork to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
- Implement marketing strategies and community engagement initiatives to drive business and build brand loyalty.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to food safety, labor laws, and health code standards.
- Handle customer feedback and address issues or complaints professionally and promptly.
- Collaborate with senior management to set and achieve business goals, including financial targets and operational objectives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar managerial role in the restaurant industry, with a track record of achieving operational and financial targets.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage, front and back of house management, and customer service best practices.
- Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and profit and loss analysis, to drive profitability and cost efficiency.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations, with a commitment to upholding these standards.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with staff, customers, and senior management in a professional manner.
- Innovative and strategic thinker with the ability to implement creative solutions to improve operations and drive business growth.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet business demands.
