Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's business goals.
- Direct and oversee all projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Lead, inspire, and manage a team of engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and industry partners.
- Continuously evaluate and improve our engineering processes, systems, and methodologies, driving efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure alignment and synergy across the company.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively, including budget, manpower, and equipment.
- Stay abreast of latest developments in the engineering industry, incorporating new technologies and methodologies as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role within the architectural industry, specifically needing experience in Chapel Hills, NC.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from conception to completion.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong strategic planning and project management skills.
- Excellent networking skills, with a proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
