As the General Manager of The Peach Cobbler Factory, you will oversee all aspects of our store’s operations. You will lead a dedicated team, manage daily activities, and ensure that our high standards for quality and customer service are consistently met. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a strong background in hospitality or retail management and a genuine love for desserts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the dessert shop, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to provide exceptional customer service.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper stock levels.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Monitor financial performance, including sales, expenses, and profitability.
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
- Plan and execute promotional events and marketing strategies to increase foot traffic and sales.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong understanding of business management, including financials, operations, and customer service.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
- Passion for desserts and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
