Position: General Maintenance Technician

Location: Raleigh & Durham, NC!

Pay: $20 - $30/hr, based on qualifications and facility

Experience: Previous experience as a maintenance technician is desired

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or a relevant field a plus

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Greene Resources is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Assist in the setup, maintenance, and repair of ventilation, refrigeration, and other mechanical and electrical systems
• Maintain and repair heating, plumbing, and other building systems
• Inspect and maintain alarm systems and schedule necessary repairs
• Conduct manual repairs, such as fixing locks and replacing windows
• Handle pest control activities, including spraying insecticides
• Assist with budget preparation and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines
• Perform general upkeep procedures, including landscaping, painting, and carpentry tasks

Position Requirements:

• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other building systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Ability to use a variety of tools, common appliances, and devices
• Manual dexterity and strong problem-solving skills
