GENERAL MAINTENANCE ASSOCIATE JOB AVAILABLE IN FULTON, MS.

Volt is immediately hiring a General Maintenance Associate in Fulton, MS.

As a General Maintenance Associate, you will be:

• Responsible for ensuring that standards for equipment cleanliness and functionality are met.
• Following procedures to ensure equipment is up to standard. Make suggestions for continuous improvement.
• Responding to maintenance requests within established timelines.
• Inventory stock to ensure that supplies and equipment are available and in adequate amounts.
• Driving powered industrial trucks as required to perform duties (sit-down).
• Moving equipment or supplies either manually or by using hand trucks or PIT.
• Mixing water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Repairing damaged equipment back to good working order by utilizing mechanical knowledge to problem solve.
• Operating and maintaining a wide variety of mechanical tools.
• Preforming all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Participating in associate meetings and communicating any concerns to management.
• Researching, evaluating, and recommending new maintenance equipment and tools to enhance the capabilities of the maintenance team.
• Utilizing Microsoft programs to process equipment electronically.

This is a Full-time Contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Perform Electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of equipment using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools.
• Hand and power tools experience.
• Electrical and hydraulic experience
• Ability to use Microsoft office, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and effectively communicate in writing and verbally.
• Ability to effectively operate computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Demonstrate general mechanical and electrical knowledge and repair abilities.
• Knowledgeable in construction and building maintenance.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Will require some outdoor work, exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures.
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and/or squatting.
• Requires getting into positions such as kneeling, crouching, stooping, or crawling.
• Regularly requires carrying objects that are up to 50lbs. by hand.

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.
