General Laborer - Solvere Technical Group

The General Laborer shall complete general labor tasking within and around a marine industrial facility. Must be able to maintain the cleanliness of the facility and be available to assist shop technicians with various tasks on interagency small craft.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure the shop environment is clean and safe
• Janitorial services as needed
• Shop and outdoor property maintenance
• Conduct periodic inventory of parts or supplies
• Wash work vehicles
• Parts pickups and drop-offs
• Non-Skid removal and installation
• Clean boats
• Assist shop technician with general support tasks as needed
• Other tasks as needed

Required and Desired Qualifications:

• Experience and Certification as a Forklift operator is desired
• Prior marine industrial environment experience is desired
• Clean driving record is required

Travel:

• 10% Local Travel for work related responsibilities

Security:

• Must pass a standard background check

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work in an office, industrial, or shipboard environment.
• Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature.
• Lifting and moving of materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one man lift.

Place of Performance:

• This task shall be performed in the Industrial Park Area in Virginia Beach, Virginia, at our boat warehouse and repair facility.
• Virginia Beach, VA 23462: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Schedule:

• 8 Hour Work shift Monday thru Friday
