General Laborer - The Bay Family of Companies

Assists in production by following processes and procedures that are set and by complying with safety guidelines and practices. As a team member this person will maintain organization and tidiness throughout their shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pulls and stages orders for outbound shipping as needed.
• Assists to unload inbound deliveries of raw materials.
• Measures products using calipers and other measuring equipment.
• Moves materials throughout the warehouse using forklift or pallet jack.
• Winds/spools products on to finished spools per product specification guidelines.
• Completes appropriate paperwork for production reporting purposes.
• Works with extruder operators - equipment set up and tear down
• Uses glue guns and tape dispensers to neatly
• Pack, seal, and label boxes for finished good inventory.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned
• Adheres strictly to defined Safety Policies and Procedures

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must be able to read calipers and other measuring devices
• Basic math skills
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Uses glue guns and other industrial equipment
• Must be able to work in fast paced environment
• Strong communication skills (writing and verbal)
