General Laborer - SBR Underground

About the Job
SBR Underground in Gretna, NE is looking for motivated individuals to join our team. We have an immediate opening for a full-time General Laborer. Hours of operation are Monday- Friday 7am to 5pm with some overtime and weekends.
Employees in this position perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. This may include operating hand and power tools of all types, cleaning and preparing job sites, digging trenches, setting braces to support the sides of excavations, erecting scaffolding, cleaning up waste materials, and assisting other craft workers.
Pay Rate: $25 and up per hour based on experience
Job Qualifications:
• 1 year of experience in the construction industry preferred
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Mechanical and/or welding skills a plus
• Ability to operate equipment a plus
• Dependable and hard working
• Physically able to climb, lift and bend repeatedly during an 8-to-10-hour shift
• A positive and professional attitude
• Ability to comply with all safety rules
Physical Requirements:
• Standing
• Walking
• Climbing, stooping and bending
• Periodic lifting of 50 to 75 pounds
• Duties may require working from heights
Environmental Working Conditions:
• All work is performed outside in heat, cold and inclement weather
• Exposure to all elements of nature
• Exposure to all types of terrain
• Exposure to loud noise
• Exposure to fumes, odors, gasses, dusts, etc.
• Work in close proximity to heavy traffic
Pay Rate: $25 and up per hour based on experience
