Come work for a company that is an engineering, manufacturing, and service company specializing in medical devices and gas separation technology. Work in a clean, well-lit, light industrial manufacturing environment. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts available with some overtime opportunities. Pay ranges from $16.50-$17.32. General Responsibilities:* Depending on the level of responsibility assigned to the production operator, the job tasks may vary and can include assembly work or maintaining and replacing machines and equipment. * These duties may include staging materials for an assembly line, recording production statistics, monitoring equipment operation or assigning tasks to production staff. First line supervisors also work to reduce safety risks for workers, oversee the production line and record accurate information on a daily basis. Provide input as appropriate to make work environment safer and to improve productivity. *Maintain d follow all work and safety requirements in work area, as well as maintain cooperation with other individuals within the area. Identify and effectively communicate issues, positive and constructive, that impact the work area. Confer with supervisor to coordinate activities of department. * Maintain compliance to company policies and practices.
Qualifications and Skills Needed:* To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities to be used in daily activities. * High School Diploma; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * *Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. *The operators will need to write / transfer information routinely on documents to maintain regulatory compliance. * The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form is necessary.* Computer Skills: Word processing, Spreadsheets, E-mail, Inventory, Manufacturing software, is a plus.* While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. * The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds. * Ability to use hand and power tools while maintaining safety of themselves and fellow operators. * Other duties as assigned.
