Title: GCP Architect
Location: Southeastern United States
Employment Type: Full-Time/Perm
Description:
• We are seeking a Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of advanced cloud-based data and AI solutions.
• This role involves utilizing modern data platforms to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions, supporting strategic initiatives, and mentoring teams.
• The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud architectures and a proven ability to deliver scalable, innovative solutions in a client-facing role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a technical liaison between clients, development, and support teams for data and AI initiatives.
• Design and implement distributed systems for high-volume data processing using cloud platforms.
• Lead architectural discussions to ensure customer success in building and migrating applications.
• Develop and present proof-of-concept demonstrations to showcase cloud technologies.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions to educate customers about cloud services.
• Build trust with clients and act as a thought leader to support solution adoption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud data and AI solutions.
• Drive consensus across teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills:
• Over 10 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in data architecture, AI, and modern engineering solutions.
• Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python or Scala.
• Active professional certifications in cloud technologies.
• Experience in implementing big data, containerization, and DevOps principles.
• Demonstrated expertise in creating data architecture and AI solutions, including model optimization.
• Excellent presentation skills and the ability to influence senior leadership.
• Strong knowledge of multiple cloud architectures and their differentiating factors.
Desired Skills:
• Hands-on experience with generative AI models, including techniques such as RAG and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with building lakehouse solutions using modern data platforms.
• Proven ability to work in customer-facing roles with excellent communication skills.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $140000K-$200000K
