GC Cost Estimator - Gervino Group

We are seeking an experienced General Construction Cost Estimator to join our New York-based construction management team. This role offers the opportunity to be a key player in the growth of our Estimating Department and Construction Management practice area, with potential to advance into a Chief Estimator position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cost estimating for general construction projects across all trades.
• Assemble and roll up cost estimates for various project phases.
• Train and mentor junior estimating staff.
• Contribute to the strategic growth of the Estimating Team and Construction Management practice.

Qualifications:

• 6-14 years of experience in General Construction Cost Estimating, particularly for buildings and infrastructure.
• Proficient in cost estimating from concept to detailed bid estimates.
• Experience with cost estimating software, quantity take-offs, and applying historical cost data.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with excellent organizational abilities and leadership potential.
• Associate’s Degree in Construction Technology/Management, Engineering, or Architecture preferred.
