We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Gas Scheduling Administrative Support. This role is critical in providing daily administrative assistance to Gas Distribution Schedulers, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Gas Scheduling Administrative Support. This role is critical in providing daily administrative assistance to Gas Distribution Schedulers, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and print work packets for gas distribution projects.
- Coordinate site checks and provide customers with updates on scheduling and appointments.
- Initiate staking requests through Miss Dig and follow up on completion.
- Contact customers to confirm gas line appointments and address scheduling needs.
- Update field employees’ schedules to account for training sessions.
- Assist in processing Frost Law permits required by municipalities.
- Manage order status updates across various departmental data systems.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and job aids while performing tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to perform standard to complex office tasks efficiently.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP.
- Familiarity with plotter printer operations.
- Previous experience in utility services.
- Customer service or scheduling experience.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Some college coursework.
- Experience: Entry-level position; 0 to 1 year of work experience in an administrative or clerical role.
- Customer service experience is an asset.
- SAP experience is beneficial.
