Job Description
As a Gas SCADA Analyst, you will be integral to our team, focusing on conducting analysis, creating system specifications, and implementing engineering, scientific, and business applications. You will be actively involved in enhancing the automation of processes using existing or new technologies and providing technical support including problem determination and investigation. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing software systems critical to the operational success of our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and test applications and systems based on user and client needs.
- Provide recommendations on software packages and manage implementations.
- Offer technical support and perform system upgrades, including software patches.
- Collaborate with vendors and clients to resolve software issues and enhance system functionalities.
- Conduct research and provide insights for continuous improvement across various corporate functions.
Required Experience/Skills
- Experience with Gas SCADA systems.
- Proficient in programming within client/server, mainframe, or web development environments.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in system analysis and design.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Nice-to-Haves
- Knowledge of additional programming languages and tools.
- Prior experience in a utilities or similar critical infrastructure sector.
Education
- A relevant bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is required.
