We're seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Houston, TX. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our projects adhere to the latest standards, contribute to process and design improvements, and build strong client relationships.
Here's what you'll do:
- Forge strategic connections with key engineers and officials across organizations. By staying abreast of evolving best practices, regulations, and innovations, you'll ensure our engineering practices stay at the forefront.
- Partner with Project Managers and Business Unit Leaders to identify and recommend process and design advancements that optimize project efficiency and technical excellence.
- Lead your engineering discipline in crafting proposals by providing accurate engineering hour estimates.
- Cultivate and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with clients, fostering trust and successful project outcomes.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or equivalent technical experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience, with at least 3 years in the pipeline or natural gas industry.
- Passion for staying current on advancements in engineering standards, technologies, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in roadway-specific engineering projects.
- A Mechanical or Civil Engineering degree.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license or actively pursuing one.
