Anderson Power Services specializes in generator installations and related gas system setups. They are dedicated to delivering high-quality service and ensuring every project meets stringent safety and performance standards. We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter with 5+ years of experience in installing natural gas and propane lines specifically for generator tie-ins. The successful candidate will ensure gas lines are installed safely and in compliance with all relevant codes. This role requires travel within a 2-hour radius using a company-provided truck.
What You’ll Do:
- Read scopes of work to order materials and keep the truck stocked with necessary supplies.
- Install natural gas and propane lines for generator tie-ins, ensuring proper sizing based on load calculations and distances.
- Perform pressure tests and ensure all installations pass required inspections.
- Diagnose and repair fuel system issues related to generator tie-ins.
- Request natural gas meter upgrades when necessary.
- Complete accurate work orders and maintain project documentation.
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience with natural gas and propane systems, particularly for generator installations.
- Ability to size lines, calculate loads, and conduct pressure tests.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for gas systems tied to generators.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius.
