We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team at Overhead Door Company of the Hudson River Valley™. The territory for this position includes the following NY Counties: Sullivan, Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester.

Responsibilities of our Sales Rep include:
- Using lead generation tools, identify commercial and industrial construction projects that may require overhead doors, initiating contact with the general contractor and/or architect to gather project information and provide information on our products and services.
- Respond in a timely manner to residential and commercial/industrial inquiries that come in via the internet or telephone. Evaluate the customers' needs and identify possible solutions from our line of products.
- Once a project is defined, provide the customer with a quotation that includes all parts and labor that will be required to complete the job.
- Follow up on all quotations to provide additional information, close the sale and collect all required documents, including deposits if required.
- Represent the company at local trade shows (i.e., home shows) to market our products and services.
- Work to effectively resolve any customer issues that may arise, providing exemplary customer service.
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members, leading by example and driving business growth in the Hudson Valley region.
Qualifications of our Sales Rep include:
- Strong track record in sales and experience either installing or selling overhead doors
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organization and follow up skills
- Clean and valid drivers' license
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with customers
