Gaming Platform Software Engineer/Onsite Atlanta at Motion Recruitment

An influential software development company in the gaming industry is looking for a Senior API Engineer to work on their flagship products (skill based games). They are looking for an Engineer who has at least 5 years of experience building and consuming REST based APIs in a Microsoft environment (C#, .NET Core, SQL/Postgres) and frontend experience with React/Redux. Additionally experience with microservice architecture and cloud systems (AWS) are pluses for the role.

This gaming company is actively growing their headcount as they rapidly expand their footprint in the gaming market. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a high sought-after industry and continue working with market standard technology. This is a fully onsite (5 days per week) role in Norcross, Georgia.


Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience building applications with C#/.NET (.NET 6/7/8 is preferred)
• Strong skills building Restful APIs
• Frontend development with React/Redux
• Ability to write stored procedures and queries in SQL Server
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent STEM field

Desired Skills & Experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Working experience in the AWS ecosystem (plus)

What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown

• 20% Frontend development (JavaScript, React, Typescript)
• 80% Backend development (C#, .NET core, REST, SQL)
