Overview: Right At Home, a highly regarded and top-rated home health agency, is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a part-time basis in the Gainesville/Athens, GA area. Dedicated to providing compassionate care to individuals in their homes, Right At Home offers a supportive and enriching work environment. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in conducting field supervisory visits, performing medical assessments for new clients, and providing caregiver in-service training as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Field Supervisory Visits:
- Conduct regular visits to clients' homes to ensure the quality of care provided by caregivers meets company standards.
- Evaluate caregiver performance and provide constructive feedback and support as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals involved in the clients' care to ensure continuity and quality of services.
- Medical Assessments for New Clients:
- Perform comprehensive medical assessments for new clients to determine their healthcare needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Communicate assessment findings and care plans effectively with the interdisciplinary team, including caregivers, clients, and their families.
- Caregiver In-Service Training:
- Develop and conduct in-service training sessions for caregivers to enhance their skills and knowledge in providing high-quality care.
- Stay updated on best practices, industry standards, and regulations related to home health care, and incorporate them into training programs.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client assessments, supervisory visits, and training sessions.
- Generate reports as required by regulatory agencies and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Georgia.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to develop individualized care plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including electronic medical records systems.
- Current CPR/1st Aid certification.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Supervisory visits: paid on a per visit basis
- Mileage reimbursement for travel related to supervisory visits and assessments
- Quarterly bonus based on company and individual performance
- Paid time off (PTO) included
Schedule: Part-time, flexible schedule
