Fund Formation Paralegal - Private Equity - Larson Maddox

An elite Private Equity firm is looking to bring on a Paralegal to join their dynamic in-house legal team, reporting directly to the General Counsel. The Paralegal will be providing fund formation and entity management assistance along with handling a variety of day-to-day legal and compliance matters.

Responsibilities:

• Review, track, and update investor database
• Maintain and update other corporate records, files and databases
• Responsible for Form ADV, Form PF, applicable State Blue Sky and other regulatory filings
• Assist the General Counsel on transactional work, including Fund entity formation
• Assist the General Counsel with drafting and reviewing certain legal contracts, correspondence and other documents
• Assist the General Counsel with other day-to-day legal and compliance matters
• Responsible for support related to litigation, mediation, arbitration, and responses to complaints

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree
• 3+ years of experience
• Preferred experience with private funds, an asset manager, or private equity firm
• Paralegal certification a plus, but not required
