Job Title: Fund Administrator
Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Fund Administrator to join our team. As a Fund Administrator, you will play a critical role in managing the administrative and operational functions of investment funds, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting efficient fund operations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of investment funds, including hedge funds, mutual funds, private equity funds, and other investment vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of fund transactions, investor subscriptions, redemptions, and distributions.
- Prepare and review fund financial statements, NAV calculations, and investor reports in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor fund expenses, performance metrics, and investment valuations to support decision-making by fund managers and stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with fund service providers, including custodians, prime brokers, administrators, and auditors.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of regulatory filings, compliance reports, and disclosures for fund entities.
- Conduct investor due diligence, respond to investor inquiries, and facilitate the onboarding and servicing of investors.
- Implement and enhance operational processes, controls, and procedures to optimize fund administration efficiency and mitigate operational risks.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CAIA are advantageous.
- Proven experience (X years) in fund administration, fund accounting, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of investment fund structures, NAV calculations, financial reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in fund accounting software, financial systems, and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in fund transaction processing, reconciliation, and record-keeping.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry best practices, operational controls, and regulatory frameworks in fund administration.
