Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounting operations for multiple private equity funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and industry regulations
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, fund performance reports, and investor communications
- Lead the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and preparing all necessary documentation
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance on technical accounting issues and professional development
- Collaborate with investment and portfolio management teams to analyze fund performance and valuation methodologies
- Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting and compliance, liaising with tax advisors as necessary
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CPA Strongly preferred
- 5-8+ years of fund accounting experience within the financial services space (PE, Hedge, VC)
- Previous managerial experience preferred but not mandatory
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Must be willing to work on a hybrid schedule
