Fund Accountant
A growing asset management firm with offices in Boston and Fort Lauderdale, is seeking a talented Fund Accountant to work directly with the Operations team. This role is responsible for fund accounting, reporting, and investor communication and reports to the Director of Finance and Director of Accounting. Responsibilities
- Responsible for a set of funds that includes recording transactions in the GL, reconciling cash and positions daily
- Work in various bank accounts that includes cash movements between entities and wire payments for deal fundings as needed
- Preparing quarterly/annual financial statements
- Maintaining and updating various schedules relating to the portfolio and fund performance metrics quarterly/annual
- Preparing capital account statements
- Assisting with the annual audits
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of public/private experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required
- Experience with financial statements and working in an accounting software preferably FIS Investran
- Excel proficiency required
- Candidate must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task
