About the Job
Responsibilities:
As a Virtual Speech Language Pathologist, you will:
Conduct virtual speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions tailored to meet the needs of students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at enhancing students' communication abilities and overall developmental progress.
Foster effective communication skills by collaborating closely with educators, parents, and relevant professionals, ensuring a cohesive approach both within the virtual classroom and beyond.
Maintain meticulous and up-to-date documentation of student progress, session notes, and pertinent records.
Contribute valuable insights on students' speech and language development during virtual IEP meetings and conferences.
Qualifications:
Possession of a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Valid SLP Endorsement recognized by the state of Iowa.
Preference for certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Strong organizational abilities to efficiently manage caseloads, documentation, and scheduling.
Employment Type: Contractor
Salary: $ 40.00 55.00 Per Hour
