Full Time Ride Electrician - $32.00 - $33.50/hr. at Six Flags Magic Mountain

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Department is currently seeking an experienced Ride Electrician with a working knowledge of the following:

• Electrical code

• Electrical mathematics

• Solid State control devices

• PLC Systems

This position falls under our agreement with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, AFL-CIO, District Lodge No. 947 and would be subject to the terms of the contract.

The ideal candidate must possess:

· 3-5yrs experience troubleshooting electrical systems, electronic and PLC equipment

· Completion of an accredited trade school or four years of electrical experience with a strong maintenance background.

· The ability to differentiate colors

· Solid reading and verbal/written communication skills, and ability to keep accurate written records

· The ability to handle multiple task/jobs

· Excellent people skills

· Solid computer skills various computer programs (Word, Excel)

· Demonstrable communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking), and ability to keep accurate written records.

POSITION REQUIRES FULL AVAILABILITY TO WORK A VARIETY OF SHIFTS, INCLUDING WEEKENDS, NIGHTS AND HOLIDAYS. CANDIDATE MUST BE PHYSICALLY ABLE TO CLIMB, CRAWL, LIFT, AND WORK FROM HEIGHTS ABOVE GROUND LEVEL ON RIDE STRUCTURES.
