Job Description:
We are seeking a Full-Time Mechanical Drafter with strong SOLIDWORKS expertise to join our growing team. Responsibilities include:
- Generate weldment and assembly drawings, including bills of materials (BOM).
- Develop detailed design models, drawings, and specifications for mechanical equipment using AutoCAD (rarely) and SOLIDWORKS (daily).
- Proficient use of SOLIDWORKS and PDM for drafting and file management is required.
- Utilize company ERP software (JobBoss) for parts, labor, and job management.
- Use company communication and task management software (Asana). Prior experience with Asana is a plus but not required.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Inspect received and manufactured goods, using tools such as cameras, tape measures, and calipers to ensure compliance with approved drawings.
- Collaborate with sales, project management, procurement, and all Clearwater team members to ensure project success.
- Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or address production challenges.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of drafting and design experience in SOLIDWORKS for a manufacturing company.
- Minimum Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Drafting or related field.
- Hands-on experience, whether personal or professional, is considered a plus (e.g., welding, automotive maintenance, building projects, home improvement, inventing, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

- Full-Time Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. We can offer some flexibility in weekly scheduling.
