Are you a passionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) looking for a rewarding career in the medical industry? Responsibilities:
As a LCPC/LCSW, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Providing high-quality mental health counseling and therapy to patients with diverse backgrounds and needs, including those with chronic conditions, comorbidities, and those in the corrections system.
2. Utilizing your expertise in addiction treatment to provide comprehensive care to patients dealing with alcohol and drug addictions.
3. Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address patients' unique needs and goals.
4. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
5. Conducting assessments, diagnoses, and treatment of clinical mental illnesses.
6. Advocating for patients' rights and needs, and providing support and education to families and caregivers.
7. Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of our mental health services through research, professional development, and participation in team meetings and case reviews.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you will need the following qualifications:
1. A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
2. Current and unrestricted LCPC or LCSW license.
3. A minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role, with a strong background/interest in corrections medicine, addiction treatment, and working with patients with chronic conditions and comorbidities.
4. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multicultural groups and a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion.
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills.
6. Strong knowledge of and ability to comply with professional and ethical standards, laws, and regulations.
7. Proficiency in electronic health record systems and other computer-based applications.
8. A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
9. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently when required.
