Job Summary: The Engineering Coordinator is responsible for efficiently managing the flow of materials and equipment in the engineering department. This includes receiving and ordering supplies, dispatching service calls, maintaining inventory, and facilitating communication within the department and with other departments.
Core Responsibilities:
- Order and receive supplies
- Maintain inventory and organize materials
- Enter service calls into the GXP system and close them upon completion
- Generate reports using GXP, Transcendent, and other platforms
- Answer phones, take messages, and maintain shop cleanliness
- Assist with engineering tasks as needed
- Support work schedules and budgets
- Maintain the engineering checkbook and inventory shop items
- Assist with project quotes and tracking work progress

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- 1+ years of administrative assistant or similar experience
- Hospitality industry experience
- Knowledge of GXP Systems (preferred)
- Experience with Transcendent (preferred)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
- Proficiency in Marriott's GXP program and Transcendent engineering platform
- Computer skills, including Excel and Word
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to multitask and search for obscure parts
- Negotiation skills to ensure cost-effective pricing
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with vendors, contractors, and staff
- Customer-focused attitude
- Comfortable working in a shared space with noise and interruptions
- Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
- Lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Use hand trucks to move heavy items
- Carry items upstairs

Compensation Range:The compensation for this position is $19.00/Hr. - $19.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
