Full-Time Cook - 1st Shift - 6:30am to 2:30pm and/or 11am-7pm - Spring Arbor Senior Living

Starting Wage $16.81/hr., higher depending on experience! Standard schedule is 6:30am to 2:30pm or 11am-7pm Monday through Friday with every other weekend rotation. Must be flexible to work either 6:30am-2:30pm or 11am-7pm every week.

What You'll Do:

• Create Delicious Meals: Prepare appetizing and nutritious food that looks as good as it tastes.
• Maintain High Standards: Follow strict food handling and sanitation practices to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our residents.
• Engage with Residents: Build rapport with residents, listen to their feedback, and make their dining experience enjoyable.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside a supportive team to serve meals and keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Clean and Safe Environment: Keep all cooking areas and equipment clean, following infection control and safety protocols.

Who We're Looking For:

• High School Degree or Equivalent preferred.
• Minimum Age: Must be 18 years or older if operating power-driven machines.
• Experience: 3 years in a healthcare, hospitality, or service environment preferred.
• Culinary Skills: Culinary arts experience is a plus.
• Certifications: CPR, First-Aid, Serv-Safe certifications preferred.
• Team Player: Enthusiastic and creative, with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
• Safety Conscious: Knowledgeable about safety and disinfection requirements.
