Our client is looking for a highly-qualified long-term supplemental full-stack software engineer who is interested in working with computational materials scientists to deliver advanced computing software (both back-end and front-end).
The work is conducted internally, with academic collaborators, and with industrial partners. As a part of advanced research effort, AML works closely with counterparts at laboratories in Korea. We are looking for strong candidates with demonstrated excellence in their fields.

What You'll Do

What You Bring
- 6-8 years experience in a related field of expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering
- Experience using R/Python, Linux, Javascript, PostresSQL, HTML, CSS, PHP, mongoDB, C++, Java
- Experience with frameworks: Django, React, Boostrap, D3.js, AngularJS, Laravel, Zend, CodeIgniter, Flask Hands-on experience with development tools: Git, TDD, Jira, Confluence, Travis CI, AWS, Tableau and ASANA
- Familiar developing and troubleshooting R, Python and Node-based applications
- Experience using AWS EC2, Lambda and S3 (in case we want to do cloud deployment)
- A robust understanding in cyber security preferred
- Familiar with container technologies and management platforms (Kubernetes, Docker Elastic Container Service)
- Understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) Familiar with AWS CloudFormation, Elastic Load Balancer, RDS, and Route 53, KMS, CloudWatch and CloudTrail
- Familiar with AWS Identify and Access management (IAM), and SAML integrations with Active Directory
- Understanding of fault models and able to design fault-tolerant distributed systems
- Ability to use intelligent monitoring, scripting and tools
- Familiar with source code repositories, either SVN or Git (Git preferred)
