Job Title: Full Stack Developer/SRE/DevOps Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

• DevOps Process Management: Design and implement efficient and reliable software delivery processes, including building, testing, and deploying applications. Develop strategies for continuous integration and deployment, ensuring automation of software delivery pipelines.
• Infrastructure Management: Manage the infrastructure required to support software development and delivery. This includes designing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure, configuring servers, managing databases, and monitoring system performance.
• Automation: Utilize scripting and automation tools such as Shell scripting, Python, or PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks, improving efficiency and reducing errors in the software delivery process.
• Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration and alignment between different teams. Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure timely delivery of software.
• Continuous Integration and Delivery: Implement and manage continuous integration and delivery practices, ensuring that code changes are continuously integrated, tested, and deployed. Use tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI to automate these processes.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor the performance and availability of systems and applications, proactively identifying and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Implement monitoring tools and establish alerting mechanisms to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure that security and compliance standards are met throughout the software delivery process. Implement security measures and monitor compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR or HIPAA.
• Documentation: Document processes, procedures, and configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and maintain a clear understanding of the infrastructure and software delivery pipelines.
• Compliance: Adhere to the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any directives related to work locations, team changes, work shifts, and flexibility of work benefits and environment. The company may adopt, vary, or rescind these policies and directives at its discretion.

Overall Role: The engineer plays a crucial role in streamlining software delivery processes, automating tasks, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of systems and application support. They bring expertise in infrastructure management, automation, and collaboration to enable efficient software development and delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of solid experience developing web applications using Java platform (Spring Boot, JPA, Restful Services) & NodeJS.
• 2+ years of experience with front-end technologies like ReactJs.
• 2+ years of experience with microservices.
• 2+ years of solid knowledge of RDBMS and experience working with Postgres/SQL Server and NoSQL, including writing complex join queries and SQL query tuning.
• 2+ years of experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins/GitHub Actions.
• 2+ years of cloud experience with Azure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with GraphQL.
• Knowledge of data model design and implementation from high-level requirements.
• Sound knowledge and experience of unit testing methodologies and frameworks.
• Proficiency in applying object-oriented principles and recommended design patterns to create robust and scalable system designs.
• Proven ability to independently troubleshoot problems and identify root causes for Sev1 production issues.
• Proactive in identifying and escalating potential risks and impediments, and coming up with alternative solutions.
