Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney to join our team. This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while offering the opportunity to work with a reputable firm based in Manhattan Beach, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in defending medical professionals against malpractice claims, a deep understanding of healthcare law, and the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.

Responsibilities:

• Represent healthcare providers, hospitals, and medical professionals in medical malpractice litigation.
• Manage cases from start to finish, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Conduct depositions, and pre-trial motions, and manage trials, as needed.
• Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on complex healthcare matters.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and clients to build strong defense strategies.
• Stay up-to-date on medical malpractice laws, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in California.
• 3+ years of experience in medical malpractice defense.
