Client Job Title: Full-Charge Bookkeeper
Job Location: 238 Littleton Road, Westford MA
Hours: Full time
Team Size: 4
Interview Process: 1 phone screen. 1 on site interview with CFO, Accounting Manager, and HR Director.

Job Summary/Description:
The Bookkeeper reports to the Accounting Manager and performs all routine functions related to accounts receivable, cash management, month-end close, simple analyses, and various other miscellaneous duties as requested, with highest priority given to accuracy and thoroughness.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. This is a full-time position that may occasionally require some overtime.
· Accounts Receivable/Collections, credit card payment processing,
· Knowledge of government services (WAWF, Transcepta, Exostar etc.)
· Accounts Payable – vendors credit card, online and ACH transactions.
· Process the company’s Payroll weekly.
· Post weekly payroll entry to general ledger.
· Commission’s Payable function: Calculate and post Commissions, process Commission checks, maintain and file backup paperwork.
· Post all cash receipts and other cash-related entries, track outstanding checks, and reconcile cash accounts monthly.
· Perform routine monthly closing process, including General Journal entries.
· Generate annual 1099’s.
· Assist with audit preparation.
· Other general responsibilities, projects and tasks, as needed.
EDUCATION:
· Accounting Associate degree or equivalent
from two-year college or technical school
EXPERIENCE:
· 4-5 years of related work experience required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Accurate, and precise; attention to detail is mandatory
· Solid basic accounting skills; especially general ledger use
· INFOR ERP Visual Enterprise experience is highly desirable.
· Well organized and able to work in team environment.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
· General Safety
· Quality Management Systems Awareness
· Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel…)
· Working knowledge of automated accounting systems
