Client Overview:
Our client, an established and rapidly growing NJ-based organization, is looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$30/hr – $35/hr
Position Overview:
The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be reporting and working with multiple departments. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for full-cycle AR, AP, and any duties the Executive Director requests be handled.
Responsibilities of the Full Charge Bookkeeper:
- Accounts payable including purchase orders and vendor account management.
- Accounts receivable including monthly invoices and handling vendor records.
- Numerous bank reconciliations for depository accounts.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
- Assist with the annual budget and auditing process.
- Assist with reconciliations including balance sheets and journal entries.
- Set up new vendor accounts.
- Prepare and review expense reports.
Qualifications for the Full Charge Bookkeeper:
- Hands-on experience with SAGE, QuickBooks, or related software.
- 3 – 5 years minimum of full-charge bookkeeper experience.
- Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, v-look ups, and macros).
- Team player with strong analytical skills.
- Thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner independent from supervisors.
Education Requirements:
- Associate’s degree and/or relative experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
