Our prestigious law firm is currently seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be a vital part of our financial team, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, and contributing to our firm's overall financial success.
Responsibilities:
As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing all company accounts and investments.
2. Creating and implementing a system to track financial transactions and ensure that they are properly recorded.
3. Updating and maintaining the general ledger.
4. Reconciling bank statements and conducting internal audits.
5. Preparing and analyzing financial reports on a regular basis.
6. Processing accounts receivable and accounts payable.
7. Managing company ledgers.
8. Processing payroll and preparing tax returns.
9. Ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met.
10. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
11. Ensuring compliance with state revenue service and making sales tax preparations.
12. Collaborating with the accounting team to prepare financial reports for management officials.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Full Charge Bookkeeper position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is required.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel, and accounting software programs.
4. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting procedures.
6. Strong skills in managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales tax preparations, and making entries.
7. Proven ability to prepare financial reports and conduct financial analysis.
8. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Strong organizational and time management skills.
10. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
11. Ability to handle confidential information.
12. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
