We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our finance team. Position Overview:
As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions. Your role will include preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update all financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Process payroll, including tax filings and benefits administration.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
- Handle general ledger entries and month-end closing.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax reports.
- Coordinate with external auditors for financial audits.
- Provide financial reports and recommendations to management.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Experience with payroll processing and tax filings.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
