Our client, a thriving local construction company, has an immediate need for a full charge bookkeeper. The full charge bookkeeper will report directly to the owner and will be responsible for all financial functions, as well as some administrative duties.

Duties include:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple construction projects.
- Record and categorize all financial transactions, including expenses, invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare and process invoices for clients, subcontractors, and vendors in a timely manner.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure prompt payment.
- Track and reconcile project-related expenses, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs with project budgets.
- Process lien releases.
- Be the first point of contact for vendors and customers.
- Answer office phone calls.
- Perform various administrative tasks, such as filing and typing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Candidates for the full-charge bookkeeper position should have 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in the construction industry. Working knowledge of QuickBooks and MS Excel are also preferred.
