Full Charge Bookkeeper - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

About the Job
We are looking for a skilled and technology-savvy Bookkeeper to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience, including review experience. This role requires proficiency in QuickBooks and a strong understanding of accounting standards and tax concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter, reconcile, and maintain financial records for various clients.
Record journal entries and reconcile bank accounts.
Produce financial reports and assist with payroll processing, including quarterly and annual payroll reports.
Perform after-the-fact review and corrections of work.
Interface directly with clients to address QuickBooks and payroll inquiries.
Assist in updating asset/depreciation schedules and preparing work papers and journal entries.
Maintain professionalism in client interactions and collaborate effectively with team members.
Keep supervisors informed of assignments and scheduling issues in a timely manner.
Thrive in a fast-paced, paperless office environment with heavy use of Microsoft applications.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience, with review experience.
Proficiency in QuickBooks; QuickBooks Pro Advisor certification is a plus.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; knowledge of Lacerte tax software is a plus.
Strong ability to interact with colleagues and clients while managing multiple tasks.
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
