Position Overview:
The Full Charge Bookkeeper will play a pivotal role in managing high-level accounting functions, including financial reporting for multiple entities and investor communications. This position works closely with the CFO, the controller of a sister company, and the internal accounting team. The ideal candidate is experienced, self-motivated, and results-driven, with a strong background in financial analysis and reporting.

Position Overview:
The Full Charge Bookkeeper will play a pivotal role in managing high-level accounting functions, including financial reporting for multiple entities and investor communications. This position works closely with the CFO, the controller of a sister company, and the internal accounting team. The ideal candidate is experienced, self-motivated, and results-driven, with a strong background in financial analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage high-level financial reporting and analysis for 852 properties across 31 entities.
- Collaborate with the CFO and controller to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Develop and implement new accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for investors.
- Work closely with the internal accountant to ensure day-to-day accounting functions align with broader financial goals.
- Maintain organized and transparent records across all entities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of high-level accounting experience.
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting and analysis across multiple entities.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and investor reporting.
- Experience collaborating with executive leadership (CFO, controller).
- Excellent problem-solving and process improvement skills.
- Strong proficiency in AppFolio property management software.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience in property management accounting.
Work Environment:
- Onsite in a casual, dog-friendly office in Columbus.
- Flexible scheduling available (e.g., four 10-hour workdays).
